when i found this leaf while i was out working in the yard, i knew some amazing shots would come of it... and i was right

the lighting and focus is amazing love the black and white it works perfectly with all the little veins on the leaf, you found it while doing yard work? great eye. Props

An interesting and philosophically unnerving conceptual suggestion. The structure of a leaf is highly hierarchical, arborescent, regardless of the cellular impression related by a dry leaf. Each small part is dependent on the larger veins and ducts, and the leaf itself depends on the tree. The tree depends on the multitude of leafs. A hugely linear and deterministic set of relations. Not very many possibilities. I enjoy the ideological pain that the idea of comparing this linearity with human life-worlds triggers in me.
