Hiya friends, it's been a while. Good to be back
. This piece is done for the Heroes of Might & Magic V poster contest organised by Nival Interactive. I had wanted to do it movie poster style, with this pic as the background, and some heroes' facial closeups on top. But I can't spare the time to finish it due to busy work. The golden thing is an arch-angel and the black stuff is an astral dragon. I think. ...Haven't played HOMM for a long time.

. The public poll results are here: [link] . For some odd reason, my entry managed to get third there. The winner of that gets a PSP. Third place gets nothing 
.Ubisoft contacted me asking if they can use the piece for the marketing of the game in Europe and America, and I gave them the go-ahead, so you might be able to see this in some HOMM adverts soon (or not, if they change their minds).

Although the Griffin Empire's patriotic ramblings annoyed me to no end on V, I think the game gets more slander than it deserves.
This poster captures the personality of HoMM's best bits, in my opinion.

I love the texturing in the background, and the colors of the sky and on the dragon. Great composition as well, everything flowing towards the center and the conflict between the hero and the dragon.

that's awsome that Ubisoft is thinking about using that. Are you going or are you already in the feild of game design because if you are could you give me some pointers as to where to start. That's what I'd like to do so I would really like it if you did.

Fantastic work!!! The detail is amazing and the movement is superb! There is so mouch feeling in it. You must have enjoyed doing this. And man, the competition in that contest looked really stiff, so congratulations for doing so well. Kudos to you!
