That's funny, my mom and sister both thought this was a photo.
Very nice job. Simple, unassuming. I can't quite put into words what I think of it...

Great work, my favourite dual screen wallpaper. Great texture, simple theme, nice division between the screens.

I use this as my background on my work desktop. Fills the space but is not too busy. I like it.

Dang! That's awesome! Cuts off in a weird place for me though. (19" 1280x1024, 24" 1920x1200) The "hair" looks great. It kinda has that fake plastic grass look to it, to go along with the synthetic Easter Island feel. Simply awesome.

Thanks. The resolution is at 3200x1200 for dual monitor users. you can try using the tile setting for your display properties, or I uploaded a cropped and scaled pack at Customize.org that should fit most standard resolution screens.

this is really cool. im using as my wallpaper right now. since its the holiday season, do you think you could do a version of it with snow on the ground and on the easter island heads? xmas lights would be cool too. i think everyone would want to see a cool night version with snow like that.

Woo, that's a weighty idea, I'll see what I can come up with though, might be fun to try.

For the first time in ages I have a wallpaper on that isn't of my own makeing. A good dual display wallpaper is such a rare beast.
The stone texture is awsome, it conveys a sense of weight and age. It perfectly suits the models.
great work.

THe grass for this scene was pretty simple. Centercore suggested the C4D Hair Department plugin to me. Hair Dept allows you to select a polygon object and create a random hair group and spline object based on thickness, height, curvature, shape and several other variables of the individual hairs (in this case grass blades).

Thanks. I'd would honestly follow up with your suggestions, but it takes so very long to render this... I don't know if I could manage going through that process again.
