The last set of TNT charactersSam got redesigned and I think I'm pretty happy with it... He might change his hair style later, but I'm happy with how this turned out.
Cat is making a return as a new creature that essentially a cat/squirrel/dwarf. Going into this comic I wanted to balance recognizable fantasy with original designs, so this race is like, an off-brand race of dwarves or halfings. She doesn't have any special psychic powers or anything like that. I just translated Cat's personality and quirks into a different body type.
Speaking of which, Kal is an off-brand dark elf. Kal is not even remotely related to June- I was just working on their designs at the same time and realized that the dark elf approach worked well with Mewtwo too.

I saw the colour scheme and the basic shape of her head in the thumbnail and immediately (internally) screamed, "CAT!" - such was the level of my excitement.
Really digging Sam's new hairstyle. The long hair look suits him! Also, it may be my eyes playing tricks on me, but this new design seems to be a bit more muscular than his TF counterpart.
I love Yu Jin's clothes. Especially that crown/headdress/fancy hat.
Edit: Nevermind that comment about Cat's name that I have now deleted. I don't know why I thought her name started with a K but everyone in the comments is spelling it with a C so obviously my memory's dodgy.

Yu Jin is a prince so they had to be fancy.
But I'm going to hate myself when he comes into the comic.
(Cat refers to herself as "Kat/Khat" to imply a kind of different way of speaking and I think that's what trips a lot of people up. Lot's of people spell it Kat now, so don't feel bad. X"D)

I couldn't notΒ put Sam and Cat in there. XD
Orhael has a prosthetic eye and the patch serves as an eye socket. Kind of like his prosthetic arm is attached to a sling for extra support.
