As they will probably appear in From Grace (thus the extra gray around)Barnaby has lost his red color is now an ashy gray. ;w;/
so old...
John and Danny have both cut their hair a little shorter. (I deeply considered giving John longer hair but I think shorter would be more likely for him. Still working on drawing hair that short tho cuz it's tricky)
But anyway, John and Danny are both 50 in From Grace so legit middle-age lovebirds
and Barnaby is... 35. Which is like 110 in pokemon years he's literally a walking fossil but he loves John too much to die imeanwhat
... I think I'm going to make them both wear slightly altered versions of the Veterans trainer class "uniform" in the comic.

But they are so cute in this. Only thing is, in the bottom pic, it looks like John's irises are white and the rest of his eye is gold. It's....very creepy looking. I know that's not what's happening, but it's what I'm seeing. I'm so sorry.

Seriously, they're plain adorable, purely irresistible. The light in their eyes. THE LIGHT IN THEIR EYES GODDAMNIT.
I must have told you something similar sometime ago, but it's striking even more now than ever. While some artists have pitch-perfect realistic artstyles (I have in mind, for example), I genuinely think you're the most skilled person I've ever 'met' at breathing life into their characters. I really mean it, it's outstanding. They all kinda feel like they're real, possible neighbours and friends, possible family... I can't praise you enough. (But I'll try to.)
