me, too. i visited this same spot, recently, and now it's covered in snow with little tufts of grass sticking out in random places, like it's balding... still beautiful, but for entirely different reasons.

a little bit. when i was little, every winter we use to get tons of snow but now we don't get too much. which is good because i don't particularly like snow.

yeah, it's like that here, too. this has been an unusual (el nino) winter, with more snow and for longer than usual. in montana (where i grew up) i remember a lot more, but even there it is clear through much of the winter now.

Cross Process is actually for darkroom and colour pics.. yes, i shudnt have used that "term" for u.
But your pic has a sepia tone or something.. its not 100% b.w, thats why i asked wat you had done...

oh, the color. that's color balance in photoshop. i try not to make it flat like "colorize" would do. instead, i make the yellows and reds slightly different in shadows, midtones and hilights to give it more depth.
you use traditional darkroom? i've never been at a school that had one, sigh.

it's a lovely combination for sure. plus the light was just right. smoke in the air from all the forest fires and farmers, making everybody in the town gag and sneeze. but it creates this beautiful golden light... a natural diffuser, i guess!
