Torio(na) is modelled after the Luskan Ambassador yes In the game she is my human mage, and Jaaral is my husband's character.  I have another really long story that won't ever be completed in which I have Toriona and Khadgar as a couple, but since I adore Cordana and Khaddy together I decided this one would be the one to finish up. I wanted Toriona to have a part, and I just used the backstory I made years ago for her.  She was "wildling" mage, natural affinity caster who chose a diplomatic path instead. She joined the Stornwind Diplomatic Corp and was there when the Exodar crashed into Azeroth. She was partnered with Jaraal and that is how they met.  They were both interested in each other but very insecure as they are two VERY different races and unsure how to proceed. When the King disbanded the Diplomatic Corp due to uneasy relations with the horde, Jaraal was sent off to a military attache and Toriona went to Dalaran. They only met again in Draenor in the service of Khadgar   As for the orphans, Cordana doesn't like children and Khad has too much on his plate. I had a longer story involving the children but I took it out.  Too much divergence from the point.
