I'm not sure where I stand on this S/U thing, lol I think it was appropriate and nice in the reboot but in TOS the whole Spirk thing seems to make more sense.
I saw the sketch for this--the perspective is oh so nice, and I love the angle you've caught Uhura's face in. If you'd cleaned it up it would look neater, but it's good the way it is too. ^^

I love S/U, TOS and nu! trek. If only the times had allowed the writers to continue the awesome S/U chemistry so apparent in the first few episodes--then Nimoy wouldn't have to be jealous of Quinto for getting to make out with Uhura. This is a very nice piece. I like the colors. That doesn't look like unrequited love to me.

I personally nearly died of cuteness in all those Scotty/Uhura moments in ST V. Being a shipper, I can't think of them with anybody else

well, I'm kinda more of a TOS-pairing fan, so I believe Uhura is much better with Scotty, and Spock... he's just Spock
Actually, if I were to choose a couple for Spock, it'd be nurse Chapel - she's really nice.
