Description
This is an order I did on Avatrai [link] for Azc. I think I captured her character well, though I wasn't given many restrictions. She has a hind sock, but you can't see it in the spray. I think I really like how the spray turned out.Comments and crits welcome! Be constructive, please.

i've been looking through your art for a while now, you're so very talented o_e
every time i try to make a picture.. i can never think of what to do x]
but there's one thing about this image that's bugging me, and it took me a while to work it out.. its the gap between the front legs spray, and the back legs spray.. it looks alot more still than this image (which has alot of movement), that amount of movement would agitate the water alot more.

Thanks! This image in particular is pretty old by now, but I still use *redheadstock 's water brushes in my recent work too. My older images like this one were made using Adobe Photoshop CS3, and my newer ones are with Adobe Photoshop CS4.

Thanks hyppo! It means a lot to me. The splashes are a strange combination of several brushes. After a lot of fiddling I had no idea whether it looked all right or whether I was just fed up with tweaking it. Glad you like!

Did you have to like cut out all around the mane and stuff. I hate hair for that. I refuse to photoshop anyone who is not bald. Well, I don't refuse, but I should.

Thanks! Heehee actually I just cut it out roughly and used a teeny tiny smudge brush to lengthen like a million hairs. It's easier when the horse isn't moving and there isn't a breeze, then I don't have to do so much reconstruction.
