Description I was originally going to name this shot with something referencing Stephen King's Dark Tower. In this series, ours is one of an infinite number of universes. The tower is a linchpin which holds all of them together. In some worlds it exists as an actual stone tower, but in others, it can be camouflaged as something else; a flower, say.

This photo was taken on the evening of summer solstice from the cliffs above the ocean on the northwest edge of Anchorage, Alaska. It was taken sometime in the 10pm hour and as you can see, the sun still has a way to go before setting. It never quite gets dark here this time of year - I could read outside all night long if I chose.

LoL thanks. The tilted horizon is deliberate. Embrace the crooked!

Awesome! I love the colors. The slanty horizon bothers me a little, but it doesn't distract me too much! Really neat photo.

I like this one, you could read so much more into it if you know the story of Sleeping Lady too- the center looks like a heart to me, and of course wishes I like this title as well!
