Is the rhino dying now that there is no more lush landscape to support its massive body weight and also to support the parasitic cherry tree? Also that mushroom might fall off if it is not more durable given the leverage of the horse and strength of the neck muscles of the rhino. Is this rhino cursed like that lap who gets his guts eaten by an eagle only to have them regrow and start all over again? Is this a 'spiritual' picture of self sacrifice to produce fruit for those that a person loves? The tree is an evocative symbol of life and the cycle of the heaven and the underworlds balanced from chaos into order and beauty.
