I love this piece and I've had it favourited for quite a long time; just today, however, I noticed something: the ear. Does it hold significance? I truly hope it does, because when viewing this from a short distance rather than up close to the screen, the ear seems rather unnecessary and takes away from the overall effect of the picture.

After taking a look through all of your work, I think that this piece is my personal favorite. I really love the atmosphere of all of your pieces, but I think this one feels the most... I don't want to say complete, because they are all finished, but it feels as though it encompasses the greatest scope without over-stretching itself.
