Wow! Exceptional work! I really like the lighting and the slight glimpse of his face. But what i love the most would be the wings! Such beautiful wings and the backbone is soemthing you rarely see with wings! You get a feel of subtle grace or power with this photo. Good job!

Ah, English, the FUN language!
"medium", in this context, means the type of media you are using to convey your art, whether that is photography, painting, text, whatever. It's "medium" because it's what comes "between" your art and the viewer, what transmits it from you to me.
Does that make sense? It's hard to explain something that I take for granted, being a native speaker.
