Hmm. I have to admit, I like the picture. The color couldn't be better. One thing, though: This picture looks almost identical to the one in the tutorial you followed. What I would do, if I were you, is, rather than follow a tutorial and post the resulting picture here, follow the tutorial once for practice, and then use what you've learned from the tutorial to make your own original piece. I mean, you learned something, right? What's the point in following a tutorial if the only thing you get out of it is the ability to make a picture that looks exactly like that?
Sorry if this comment seems harsh, but I'm trying to help.

It looks like a rose that's starting to form. Or some borealis out of whack...very pretty. *Favs.*

Im not particularly keen on digital art, but I think this is very well done. this was one of my favourites of the ones in your gallery. the composition is excellent. the use of colour is very well done and you have a great sense of artistic intuition. keep up the good work.

Interesting peice. Looks a bit more like the petals of a rose, more than a pinwheel, but good nonethelss.

I love the contrast. it looks almost like a flower to me, but not quite so delicate maybe?

Nice work. But I'm sure you could do better, because it doesn't exactly blow me away.
Keep it up.

hehehe. i just want to point out- did you notice that all the emoticons in your artists comments were light blue?
what i like-
i like that the design is so intricate without being overpowering. choosing black as your background helps with this because it contrasts nicely while keeping the image stable.
what i dont like- ummm... nope... i got nothing...
one thing you could try is to tone down the color some, and make it a little darker blue. do that by going to image-adjustments-brightness/contrast.
im not saying it would be better, im saying it would be interesting to see how it would look.
im going to have to try this tutorial myself. great job
