Description Yuuki Asuna used to be a real girl, a studious young woman born into a prosperous family and an unlikely player of virtual reality MMOs.  Now she is simply a beautiful fiberglass mannequin, to be dressed up at her owner's whims like a life-sized doll, whether it be in lingerie, swimsuits, or more modest but still attractive outfits like this one.  The mannequin's expression and pose suggest slight embarassment, but it will never make a complaint about its station.

The mannequin once served in a store like any other dummy, but it was soon transferred to the owner's private collection, and now stands proudly on display in his house.  To keep the mannequin from getting dusty, it is kept within a glass case.  Beneath it, there is a plaque listing the name of its model, the years of its existence as a living girl, and the material that its body is now made out of.

He can't help but admire its beauty each day, permanently preserved in plastic for his viewing pleasure.  Its long strawberry blonde hair is still mostly real though, and he takes particular delight in running his fingers through and combing it whenever he opens Asuna's display case for cleaning or a change of clothes.  The mannequin makes no reactions to this, but how could it?  After all, it's just an inanimate object.

Just a quick one that I had the idea to make after gokutherpower-art suggested that Asuna's mannequin would look good in a collector's display case.

One of these days, I'm going to have to try writing a petrification/mannequin story.  It seems like such a fun concept.

Indeed!  Not only is there the transformation aspect, but there's the displaying and/or dressing them up however you like.  And of course, statues / mannequins are objects, so they can be sold as such too.  They also can have their own interesting homes, like inside an art gallery / on someone's lawn or in the window of a busy store.

the part I'm looking forward to is writing the character's reactions.  (Presuming they're conscious.)  it's like a form of hypnosis, but with a lot less dialogue, ya know?

Ah, yes.  The reactions are always fun if they're conscious.

Great work, I like how she looks here.
Guess that someone might start a company that borrows such figures.

There'd certainly be a market for them.

Love the addition of the glass case. Locked away from the world, but still part of it. And trapped at her owners mercy. Lucky little fiberglass bitch!!

Any girl transformed into a mannequin, a statue, or another inanimate object would be trapped at her owner's mercy.  The addition of the glass case merely provides a little extra security and reinforces that notion along with her ownership.  But it's exactly that reinforcement that I like too.

On the lucky side, she'll remain beautiful for as long as her owner carefully maintains her / avoids undue wear and tear (and the case suggests that he's doing just that), and she has no responsibilities or expectations placed upon her other that she stand there, look pretty, and wear any clothes that her owner puts on her, all of which are effortless on her part.  Given the pressure placed upon her by her parents to succeed in school and a subsequent career or to find a suitable partner for marriage, it must be a relief to not have to worry about them anymore.  There's also no possibility of her ever getting sick, thirsty, or hungry. Moreover, a typical mannequin is just about 25 pounds, yet she can't possibly look anorexic or become overweight.

On the unlucky side, she used to have a loving boyfriend, and now she's locked away from him, and she can't enjoy playing games with him and her friends like she used to, or life's other pleasures, again because she's confined to a case.  She was also very strong-willed, but now she's utterly powerless to fight back.

Wow!  I love your thought process in regards to trapped female mannequins.

Really nice she is especial for the owner (probably) because she won a private place.

Indeed, I'm sure the owner finds her special as well.

Making it worst that Asuka is a mannequin, she's locked up in a display case. It's interesting concept at the least, this takes new levels even haha.

Well, being locked up in a display case isn't really that different as being placed in a window display, save that she's only on display for one person.  Then again, some window displays simply would have her in the foremost position on the floor, so she has less "freedom" than that here.  I think locking her up like this underscores that she's an object now.
