Personal Illustration; Ink lines, PS CS5 color. The artwork was laid out by me, but all the drawing and color was pretty evenly split between myself and , my permanent partner in crime.We'd been planning to do something with Batman for a long time, and we took last year's Heroes Convention art auction as the opportunity. The original piece was done in full marker on 20" x 32" board, so it was a real monster. We scanned the ink pre-marker so we could color it as a print later, and here it is. Pretty much everything we love about Batman in one piece. And, as is our way, loads of stuff to pick out in the small details.

This is amazing. Batman himself looks awesome, so commanding and powerful, plus a bit scary since he's coming right at me. Awesome work on all of the details, and his expression alone is deadly enough. Then the collage of all his allies is quite terrific too; then I like the bat-transition as the pulp-style version of so many awesome villains serves as the backdrop. Great job all around.
