More Wheel of Time; can't seem to get away from this story. Fans will undoubtedly recognize the scene, but this is the last confrontation between the Dragon Reborn and the Dark One. Rand sprung a clever trap on Moridin, letting him use the Dark One's own power to buffer his (Rand's) reforging of the Creator's prison (thus avoiding another taint on the True Source). Yeah, that probably sounded like fantasy-novel gobbletygook if you haven't read the books; suffice to say, it was properly badass for the conclusion of a thirteen book fantasy epic. I'm not in love with this pic, but I made a screen cap of its process, which I'll hopefully get up on youtube for anyone who's interested.Related content

Nynaeve doesnt have a braid anymore at this point, so it would be proper to remove it, but its a good picture nonetheless.

This is fantastic I just love it.
By the way Nynaeve did not cut her hair it was burnt off during her Aes Sedai test. It is now only just to her shoulders.
I had to paint it because while reading the last book I was picturing her braid. It will always be her symbol. If you need to see what her hair looks like now here is my painting [link]
Kudos for removing the correct hand on Rand...a lot of people do the other one 
In the end this is fan art and it does not have to be aproved by any officials (which is nice to draw it your way) so don't fret. Fan art is how you see it really.

I thought it was mentioned back at the camps that she had her hair loose instead of a braid. Or I just forgot she put it back

You might be right; though I'd keep her braid even if it was technically wrong, since it says Nynaeve so strongly to me (and its really hard to indicate character with a back view).

She cut it? I think I've read Jordan for so long that I've got into the habit of completely skimming over paragraphs that describe scenery or clothing.

Manga Studio and Photoshop. Book 6 is often cited as the best of the series, but definitely don't skip to the end; tons of great stuff along the way you'd be sorry you missed.
