Description
Decided to throw some paint onto this piece, Star Wars is such a colorful experience that it seemed incomplete as just lines. Felt a bit rusty starting out, seems like a while since I've done any painting, but after I warmed up it was fun. Still bouncing back and forth between Photoshop and Painter; I've heard rumors that cs5 has all the painting and blending options as painter, but until I score a lot more cash, I'll be using both.Related content

I liked the inks, but I like this color version better. It's composed well first of all, and then I like how Luke is strong in front with the others a little more subtle behind.

Thanks, man, I appreciate it. I actually drew this over a Golden Spiral, after reading Eric Canete's blog. I tend to start compositions from POV ideas, so it was good to try a totally different approach.

my only crit lies in the drawing portion of this piece. there are some things i'd like to bring to your attention.....best to do this over at OS. if you're interested check there in the next day or so.

Thanks man. I can probably guess at the drawing critiques; there are several to pick from (and one glaring one), but I would definitely appreciate a critique from the master.
