This concept car looks amazing with all those transparent doors, and so does the BMW i8 Concept that was made back in 2011. The BMW i8 Concept from 2011 also had transparent doors, if you don't know.

This looks amazing. It looks like from the science fantasy movies from the 80's that I've have watch when I was a kid.

So that's where DeLorean got the idea.

More or less If you check concept cars for the 70/80s then you will see that most of them all the same - even the Porsche and Maserati.

Now that you mention it, the Triumph TR7 and the Pontiac Fiero were modified wedge shapes. And the 1977 Lotus 7 Now that I think of it... It made a fine submarine.

A damned fine design.

Yeah, you could literally find dozens of those cars - most of them were "brandless" designs that were taken by some companies as concept cars. It's common right now as well

Yeah it's max I can follow pictures directly while modeling (I have a set of cameras that represent real ones that were used to take pictures) so it's relatively easy It just takes time to learn the proper modeling techniques ... but still, it's just a matter of time.

Yeah, a shame it didn't live long enough ... At least now I have the pleasure of modeling an extremely rare car

Well I think that everyone tried to mimic Gandini's visionary style in their concepts If you take a look at prototypes from that era they all will appear to have some similar lines, especially the ItalDesign (VW/Porsche, Maserati).

More like 60's vision of the 70s-80s, fitting perfectly in the 80s.

Yep, Gandini was always miles ahead of other designers I'm sure that if it wasn't for the financial problems, Lamborghini would have another winner on their hands. Their 4-seaters could easily win against the most exclusive cars.
