Sun Fire:
Sun Fire is one of the champions of old Equestria, Unlike other ponies, he came into the world blind. Because of this, his parents only taught him the most basic of magic: like how to sense the magic within others. But whenever he was alone, he would spend that time experimenting with his magic, to see what else he could do with it. Finally, his hard work paid off. He was able to come up with a way to use his magic to help him see, which he calls “the spell of sight”. Alas, the spell is not perfect, it lets him see the world like a blackboard with outlines of everything around him except for what's up in the sky. The spell also takes up a lot of magic so he can't use it for long periods of time. After seeing what he did, his parents decided to teach him more spells. And since he is the son of a noble family, they mostly taught him combat spells so he could defend himself. As he grew, so did his skills. Soon his reputation as a warrior spread across the land. He defended the weak and taught his style of fighting to other unicorns.
