Dang, I really missed a good opportunity for a pun by using colored pencils to draw this Painted Turtle. Ah well. Amazing coloring! What pencils did(/do) you use?
I don't know whether I should buy quality pencils or not... I mean, you have to have some skill to draw something "good", but quality colors do make some difference, too...

I drew this particular drawing with regular old Crayola pencils, but nowadays I use Prisma Color pencils- those things are amazing, but they aren’t cheap, ha ha, but if you’re skilled at coloring and you know what you’re doing you can do wonders with even the cheapest pencils!

I know, but I think good pencils (material in general) could be much more precious to an artist than an expensive Smartphone (i.e.).
