Mark Hamill is by far the best scree Joker and is closest to the comic book. Great pic, any chance of the Mad Hatter?

Mark Hamill is DA BOMB. Joker + Harley = love! I also like how Harley is lovesick and Joker has the, "I know I'm awesome." look on his face.

at this point I've decided you are more or less a woman after my own heart. Mark Hamill's Joker is also my Joker, without question. Apart from the voice and the laughter that knows no parallel, the characterization provided by the lines themselves.... perfect.
You've done him a nice tribute.

To me, all the other Batman movies/shows are just wanna-bes. I grew up to Harley Quinn's annoying voice and Batman's square chin. Beautiful.

I love the Nolan films, but the animated series will always be first in my heart.

Gorgeous pose on Harley <3
You know, I recently watched the "Mad Love" episode, and I nearly spat out my tea. I'm surprised it made it past the censors, since it was a really full-on depiction of an abusive relationship. I always remembered it as being quite funny and slapstick, but when I rewatched it, it was decidedly unfunny and depressing.
I think Harley is a much cooler character in the fan art than the original series that spawned her. In the series they always seem to depict her as completely dumb and uncreative :/
(But she's still the most awesome character ever :3)

I'm with you on the tea-spitting there - I mean, heaven forbid anyone dies on the show, but they can show a maniac tossing his girlfriend out of a, what, six-story building?
That said, if you don't take it as a piece of children's entertainment, it's a great episode (and MAN, I love listening to Mark Hamill roll those r's!)...only funny in a sick, sad sort of way.
Eh, I think she's a great character even in the original series. Compared to Poison Ivy and Catwoman's femme-fatale brand of villainy...she's so naively loony!
Ever seen "Harlequinade" ([link] )? It sort of gives the impression that she's really not as much of a ditz as she acts. (Plus, she musters up the spine to actually pull a gun on the Joker. Points for that!)

I wish when you say "ladies" you only mean Harls, but we all know there are girls out there who think the Joker is shmexy. Eep!
I think a Nolanverse Harley would work, but they would have to darken her like in the recent Joker graphic novel; as they "darkened" the Joker for the movie. He's not really the traditional Joker of the comics --- he doesn't use any of his traditional gags (Smilex, acid-squirting flower) , but is a more realistic take.
Thanks for drawing this, though! :-D

Aw, c'mon - even the best of us have a Harley-esque thing for at least *one* version of the Joker!
That said, he's one of the only Bat villains I probably wouldn't want to bring home and feed. Admiration from afar is far safer.
You're right, a Nolanverse Harley would have to be a complete departure from the Bruce Timm model. But, gee...where's the fun in that?
I hear she has a, hem, silent role in the new graphic novel. And something about the writer regarding her as "essentially a stripper'.
This...sort of irks me.

Yeah Devil's Advocate Joker isn't so bad.
I'm a big Harley fan, but (while I would have preferred if she spoke) I actually liked her depiction in the graphic novel. And I was worried about it, for sure, with her not speaking and all. She isn't essentially a "stripper"; but she DOES have a reverse strip scene, in which she puts her clothes on. I don't want to ruin it for you, but it is a "joke" and a ruse. She's still playful, just in ... a different sense. And the relationship between the two of them is quite well-depicted.
You should at least check it out:
