Another redesign....I can't help it...if I see a problem I need to change it....I like this design a bit more than the last ones, it's a little more simple.
Oh! and I made a logo (rough draft)

2. You stated "Fire magicians will resemble Mexicans~ water will be Jamaicans.....metal will be Vikings ^_^ and so on". So in this magic realm, it'll be similar to the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender & Legend of Korra?
3. Do you mean assigning different elements for different cultures/ethnicities?:
earthen elements for the peoples who come from mountainous regions (like wood/forrest for Irish/Celtic, stone for the Deutsche/Germanic, metals for Nordic or Anglo)
fire for Latin; Mexico, Spain, etc.
watered elements for the people who originate on island territories (i.e. Jamaicans^, Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, etc.)
aerial elements for oriental origins (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc.)

1) hey~
2) kinda....but not really....each type of magician has a different way of using their magic. For example the fire magicians use speaking to activate their magic...while the metal magicians would use a weapon to activate their magic.
3) yea, except I wasn't going to explore every culture....so Jamaicans would be the only water magicians and Chinese (if I pick Chinese) would be the only air magicians.
Kinda trying to keep it simple as possible XD Since the magic dimension isn't the world that will be focused on I don't wanna put too much in there.

Quintin's? A backpack that gives slime balls from different dimensions. (the short version of it XD)
I wanted to make him the dude with no super powers but still creative with what he had(which was his alien backpack) originally..but Nathan kinda fit the whole "no super powers but resourceful" bill. So instead of focusing on making him with no super powers I decided to give him powers that aren't that strong but he uses them creatively instead ^_^....does that make sense.
I mean Jackie has these strong powers but she's very straightforward with them so I wanted Quintin to be the opposite.

Yeah, I can see why you'd change the slime ball powers. If Jackie is super strong, Arrio's got Spanish magic, Levani a superspeed suit, and you're making Nathan the only non-powered, then are you making Quintin's new powers complement or parallel Jackie's b/c you wanted Quintin to be the opposite?

Yup Jackie and Quintin are totally different on their own so I thought it'd continue that through their super powers.
(Guess I can tell you now) his powers are kinda like Armor from X-men except it's more slimy looking and he can only armor certain sections of his body at a time ( like arms...and feet...or head..)
he's like...Mr. Fantastic mixed with Armor XD he can stretch his slime in different ways. His slime amour isn't strong though so it can be sliced and pierced, but it's handy. (can catch multiple people...maybe open up a door by flattening his slime under the door....or make a slingshot...create an air bubble for underwater adventures~)
plus his powers are different from everyone else on the team~ so that's good ^_^

1. What's the reasoning w/ him & slime based powers?
2. Does he try and learn how to use some of Nathan's gadgets in case his powers futz out on him?
3. When he uses the slime, if it were to have an odor, what would it smell like?
4. Does the slime originate from himself or a tool?

1) Well I wanted him to have a power that can shape into many things so he can show off his creativity BUT I didn't want himself to change shape...cause I think it looks a tad gross.... sorry Mr. Fantastic and Kamala (It works for you guys!) so I thought of slime~ Slime can stretch, slime can stick so yea......plus it's green like his base colors! 
2) Quintin could use a few gadgets but I don't think he'll need them, though everyone needs the base stuff like a way of communicating.
3)....hmm like tree sap.
4) From himself, it kinda...oozes out of him....or maybe the better way of putting it is it secretes off him like sweat then forms the slime he can manipulate.
5) Pretty much. BTW Arrio can only use elemental magic. he doesn't have vague powers like Zatanna

4. So if he's in P.E. and he has to run a mile, will the ooze come out of him? Or is on control like w/ a unique chemical trigger he uses?
5. OK, that makes thing much clearer. He can shoot elemental powers instead of memorizing a spell to shoot mystical rockets outta thin air.
5-A. Elemental Magic comes in main points, with branching subsets:

*****Water: Mist/Vapor, Ice, Rain, Acid, Thermo (rapid heating or cooling)

4) It won't ooze when he's sweating, It's more like a defense mechanism....so if he feels threatened then it could come out. Say he runs into a bully on a bad day XD
5)....yea...at first I made him be able to make anything he can say...but man did that get out of hand quick! My sis suggested I give him more rules to his powers so I thought only elemental stuff~ (which will still get him pretty darn far judging by all the stuff you posted he might get OP once he learns Spanish XD LOL but he is the trump card of the team.
I'm gonna have to post more things on the magical dimension I made~ (it's all about the elements)

4. Good. B/C if he sweets it out on normal it'll get awkward & hard to have a secret ID.
5. If you're gonna make a magical dimension, use Spanish folklore from wherever the mom is from.
5.1. AND yes I have my own story-verse. It was a small assignment in 8th grade, then I reworked it entering high school... I ret-conned EVERYTHING full-blown until I loved my formula in my Senior year in high school. I use 3 central characters to expand my universe. It got to the point where I made a multiverse.

5.1) that's awesome!! I made a crazy detail story myself throughout high school and college...but scraped it. It was gonna be a manga....but I kinda got more into disney and stuff and kinda stopped liking the story and the elements in it.

5. My universe followed the MCU principle, where everything has some sort of explanation, but can still be fantastical. My 3 central characters live in 3 parts of the world: Adrian/Celestial lives in London, Dexter/Periodex lives in West Virginia, & Tetsuro/Swords lives in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan.

3 comics, but I'm gonna really begin making it later this year b/c my 1st time at U.C.F., yeah I'm in Florida, was one big anxiety attack.
2015 started of great for me, Spider-Man came back to Marvel, my classes were starting good, then 1 of my tires blew out, Leonard Nimoy died... My year went to crap. After the spring term, I owed a couple hundred $$, and my main intro class for my degree was a bust, so I have to retake it.
I have all the story & research good, but after everything this year, I'm gonna hold off until I can work out ALL I need for my Fall term. Maybe something, like character models, this OCT. after the Marvel relaunch.

I was thinking at first they had to put it on old school but later maybe Lavani makes something that switches what they are wearing with their suit. (with some form of thing-a-ma-jig) LOL

Try a transformation sequence. That teal/green button on his backpack strap, push it & suit pops on.

Problem with that is, that button is attached to his crazy alien backpack and has a different function XD
Quintin's backpack can't produce a supersuit for him unfortunately.
hmm...not that it matters right now...for a while they will be wearing some quick suits like hoodies till they find Nathan (and his money). XP

hmmm not sure...still toying with it. I think I might just make the backpack a complex AI that Quintin can't fully understand (cause it's alien) and thus can't completely access it's full power.
