Description
I wanted to create something more spontaneous, without thinking too much of what should be in the painting. (but of course, the details took a few hours)I started with an abstract background (which I do quite often), without any idea, what´s to come next (that was a lot of fun!)
Canvas, acrylics, brushes and madness in about 20 hours
Unfotunately the photo isn´t that good, but I think it´s good enough to look at.
edit: I´ve changed the title, because it always felt wrong
and I´ve also changed the picture file, because of its bad quality

I really like this. Its hard to find artist who still do acrylics along with other forms of art. I do digital art, black and white drawing, and I color work now with colored sharpies, But enhance them on the computer. Ill have some up soon, I hope you will check it out.

As always, very lovely effect with the highlights and light reflections. Your style has a very powerful realism to it because of the way you reflect light.
This one almost seems to show a snail-like organism (Slow-moving but still moving somewhat, and responsive to the environment) that has collected and absorbed a mass of random electronics and metal bits. There are actually strange instances of a similar thing happening with insects... in some places a certain type of ant is attracted to the energy resonating out of stop lights, and so many of them will climb up inside the lamp and all over it that people can no longer see it. Very wierd, but that's what this reminds me of.
My only critique for this guy is that little pipe-like object coming out of the top right corner. The way you have it angled, it seems to simply be hanging in mid-air, possibly showering dust or some substance out of it. Now, with the background the way you have it, it almost appears to be a flat surface. If the end of the pipe were bent upwards to line it up with the wall, it would appear to be anchoring the symbiote to the wall. Personally, the way I looked at this one, that would add a bit to the solid effect of the thing. That's the only thing that caught me as being out of place.
Wonderful job once again. You've really got a lot of talent when it comes to acrylics and I hope you end up going a long way further.
