Description I was just playing with some leftover wire, and noticed I made a dragonfly wing shape, so I made a mirrored copy and filled in the spaces with translucent polymer clay! Then I added glass and prehenite drops.
These are NOT for sale. (but I do have similar things for sale now...)

they are simply wonderful, I love how you got inspired by dragonflies, they are my fav insects it also reminds me of a leaf shape, it's sooo beautiful

A little bit? Not as much as I'd have liked, though. The color comes from mica powder, so there's a little bit of shimmer.

I never thought much about mixing wire and polymer clay. It looks like that would pop out easily, but maybe the wire in the middle secures it?

That, plus the low profile of the wire around the clay and the fact that the clay sortof encases the wire. Its really a very strong combination. You'd have to try to break it.
