I enjoyed the style used in this rendition of Pit. To me it combines both the cartoonish and mystical aspects of the subject matter. The definitive colored line art makes his features easy to follow and the lighting and shading helps drive home the environment around him. Especially the bloom lighting. It makes sense to make his feet almost disappear within the sun in the background, but if taken too far his feet would be nonexistent. I'm glad you didn't do that, that would look weird honestly. The balance made here makes for a picture that gives us ample bright colors yet also appears logical given the clouds that bounce sunlight off of themselves. The shading isn't just a darker shade of the surface they're cast upon, but they also share a tint from the ambient radiance the clouds create. The pose is also that of one really flying, reaching out for the edges of the sky. It's believable. And though many people use similar poses, the positioning of the legs, coupled with his outfit design, give this an almost elegant quality. As though he's dancing. I feel a lot of hope from this picture.

That said I'd think being able to see his right leg a little more, maybe in the form of having his right knee stick out away from his body a bit more, would prevent him from appearing as though his right shin isn't directly attached to his back side. And although the lighting is well utilized, it does dull some feature like how his olive crown, or kotinos, seems to match the color of his wings instead of having a bit of gold on them. That could just be chalked up to my personal tastes though. I can see what you were going for in making his crown light that way. Making him seem almost ethereal, especially with how his wings are glowing with the power of flight.

It may have been a while before you made Uprising fan art, but i believe the wait was worth it. Thank you so much.

Theres a reason i draw furries. They're easier. (Also cooler but thats besides the point.) You can just do little circle paws for feet. XD

I was always a fan of Greek mythology as a kid.  I'd probably enjoy it if I had any old nintendo consoles anymore.  Maybe one will come out for switch
