This very interesting and the chosen method seems interesting, too. How wax is actually used in painting? I am kind of curious.

Thanks! There are a variety of tools for encaustic painting. It basically involves melting the wax to a liquid state and then applying it however you see fit, with an iron or smaller heated metallic instrument.
