There a lot's of point of views possible as far as no one have the same vision of a fractal.

This fractal is a classic of the Ultra Fractal : The Flowers
There some point i really think you can improve !

First of all i think you should try to highlight (sharpen) the border of the flower to make theme more present in this piece.
You should try to add another layer and make a fine black line around the flowers edge.

Now the gradient, there are really good point on this gradient.
I really love the red to brow to black gradient which is making the background ! it's a really nice composition e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/c… " width="20" height="20" alt="" title="Clap" />
But I trully think that you need to find another color for the flowers border that make more contrast with the background.

very nice color scheme and nice composition I agree with the advices =SaTaNiA gave you in his critique, and I find it an interesting start you should make more flowers

They really do look like flowers. It is my belief that all things in nature are fractal based.
