Nice work...would suggest going a little clearer/lighter in color through, so that you can make out what's going on without having to actually ' figure it out ' first.Β
Whether you are drawing for digital or print, always make sure that your work translates into clear imagery because it will make your work in printed formats; cards, posters, prints, comics, etc...all of it will be too dark.Β
Do print tests as you go along to make sure everything is as clear and well light as you want it to be.Β
Keep in mind that even though in reality, dark is literally darkness and lack of light, there is a handicap that has to be used in visual art. It is always best to go a little lighter in making sure you are clear instead of being exactly proper as reality would have it.
No matter what genre you are in, it is always about keeping the reader involved in the ' illusion of escape ' into that world you are taking them through.Β
Break that illusion due to their mind not accepting the art, due to questions or issues coming up instantly loses them because something is wrong that they don't get right off...

To be honest, I don't really get the last two paragraphs, but I got the message. Make it brighter.Β I guess my monitor is set brighter which is why I see everything clearly and others don't. |D I will think about it the next time!
I won't print it, though, so no worries about that.Β

You got the point, which is what matters.Β
The bottom line isn't the colors you have chosen, as in the light, they show great. It is more about your back-lighting...make the darkness of your background reflect lights of the city and the dark blues and purples of the reflection of the lights contrasting against the atmosphere and clouds in the sky.Β
That, with the dark silhouette of the cats coming around the corner would have made a much more dramatic and clear visual.Β
Just food for thought.Β
