Description
A wall mural my friends and I did. Done entirely with acrylics, except the lines are done with sharpies. [link]And it's a really freaking-big wall mural. Just maybe a bit shorter than your average person. We had to stand on stools to paint it on top on the tiles that were on the bottom half of the wall in the far stairwell.
The characters belong to Hiromu Arakawa.
From left to right: Mae Hughes, Roy Mustang, Edward Elric, Combination Alphonse Elric with Xiao Ming the panda (we couldn't decide which Al to paint), Envy and Ling.
There was a long discussion on who to paint. And... those are random elements in the background.

They don't allow wall murals painted directly on walls in schools anymore in Calgary. You have to paint on something that can be mounted to the wall. But since we had really ugly and vandalized wall murals from years ago, the art teacher let my friends and I paint over them (without the principal's permission). So we painted over the outdated murals that were peeling anyway.

Aww! it's GORGEOUS. <3 I love how you colored it. Ling looks as handsome as ever.
Except Al's eyes are golden, not blue (or green, for that matter *cough*Conqueror of Shamballa*cough*).

We painted his eyes blue on purpose because my friends and I couldn't decide which Al to paint. So he's part manga Al (with Xiao-ming), part anime Al (brown hair) and part movie Al (blue eyes) all at once.

Ohhh, you put Alfons's eyes. For a while, I was confused because Alphonse in the movie has green eyes. XD

It's so amazing! The shading is just right and everything. It looks like it took a really, really long time! All the details are perfect!

If you read the description, maybe you could figure out that we combined the manga Al with the German movie Al because we couldn't decide which Al to paint.

Ah OK! When you said that you couldn't decide of wich Al to draw, I tought you were talking between the human Al and the armor Al, not the two human forms!

I apologize for the confusion, we added Xiao Mei the panda as a tribute to the armor Al, which at the time, was manga only since Brotherhood hadn't been announced yet. So it's ALL the Als. XD;
