Description + "Here, have some."

+ This is from the long-anticipated photoshoot with my 5 younger siblings. Katarina, Branden, Natalie, Gaby, and Austin. *whew* Overall, it was a lot of fun to play with them and make them smile in front of the camera. It was great practice for child photography and it'll be nice to have some quality prints for family. Jensey was in the 'garden' with me, helping pose the kids and generally keep them from tearing apart the leaves and lizards. Wonderful times. bweblbweblbweble

+ Little excited girls don't keep their hands still very well. Fortunately, she sat still long enough for this. (All of about 3 seconds.)

+ Edit: Original just wasn't exposed very well. Levels, Select 'digital fill', crop to fill frame better, smoothing of skin texture. The weather conditions were very blah the day of the shoot, so heavy editing was more than required. Gray skies,

Plumeria! My all time favorite flower.
Hello, I just realized that you are in Orlando. An hours drive from me. I live in DeLand (next to Daytona)

A really solid composition methinks. Whilst people cringe at the central positioning of the subject, I think it works well, especially with her arms converging to the focal point of the image

Nice. The use of colors is what really gets my eye. The flower is such a different pink from her dress and everything is soft and subtle colors, except where you want us to focuse. Everything there is intense and saturated.

Three seconds? Wow. I totally would have missed the shit. It's really great though. What if you tried to be a bit cliche and made the ground B&W? I love the semi-symetrical properties of the photo, and the overall blend of colours between the ground, her person and the flower.

I think the photo says alot about her and the innocence of children in general. Then they grow up and add themselves to the human suffering and drama of society.

awww...this is really cute...i love the sense of anonymity in this one - given the fact that her face was left out of the shot...everything just adds up

The simple details like her feet and the bow make this great. The focus on the flower and her hands really make you feel like she's offering you not just a flower, but a moment of happiness.
