Description I did it, I finally caved in and installed LiteStep after seeing months and months of screenshots of it in action.

So far it seems quite nice. I do like the fact that it's highly customizable... possibly too customizable though. There are so many modules and such that it can easily get overwhelming. I might even go as far to saying that I'm having more trouble with this than with the Tint2 + Conky combo in Linux Distributions.

I think I've got the basics down though. xTray, xTaskBar, xPopup and jDesk are the main ones to play around with.

I'm still trying to figure out how to add a button akin to a startbutton, I know it's something along the lines of startbtn but when I add it to my theme.rc nothing happens. You might be saying? Why exactly do I need it since it basically does what right clicking the taskbar, but hey, I guess I'm just used to having one...

Oh right. So.. currently my file manager is Windows Explorer, which is a huge pain because if I want to browse a file I can't just click File Manager because it'll open up the windows taskbar (which is also part of the explorer). Instead I have to open up a folder such as the theme folder and then browse for the file. Which brings me to a question, which File Manager do you use and why?

In the next few days I should be releasing a new LS theme and SB Widget. My only gripes at the moment are making it Retina compatible, the Widget's done just gotta make a bunch of @2x sized icons which in theory wouldn't be too bad since I only have about 9 or so icons, but since I have about 9 different revisions it could take some time and I've just been lazy. The lockscreen widget layout gets messed up with retina devices even though it looks fine on non retina, if I can't squash it soon I might just release 2 Lockbackground.html files.
