“It was sure nice of them to pitch a tent for us to sleep in,” Sparx said after wriggling into her sleeping bag. “Yeah, well, I did save their skins and all,” Ace replied. “I didn’t think their spare tents were this big, though.” Sparx shrugged. And then suddenly she jumped up and started hopping around ecstatically. “Oh! Oh! I almost forgot to ask!” she said. “The way you saved everyone back there, how the hell did you do that?” she asked, to which Ace responded: “Don’t jump up like that! You scared the crap out of me!” Sparx crawled back into her sleeping bag, and softly let out a “woof…” Ace sighed and sat down. He then started digging in his pocket a bit and pulled out some coins.

“You already know what Smash Tokens are. Like I said before, they’re used for temporary Smashformations, at the off chance a Smash Pin gets broken. But I recently discovered that they could turn into whichever items you want. And aside from that, If you use it when you’re Smashformed, they give your character’s abilities a boost. Which is why I was able to fly with Mario’s cape.” Sparx took the coins out of his hands. “However,” Ace continued, “That only works if you Smashform with the Smash Pin, and not the tokens.” Sparx gave the coins back. One of the coins fell out of his hand. He took it up and flipped it up with his thumb. It made a pleasant ringing sound. “Call it,” said Ace. “Uum…heads!” Sparx yelled. The coin fell back down…with the Smash symbol facing up. Ace smiled and picked up the coin. “You called it right. Here. Keep it.” He gave the coin to Sparx and put the remaining two back in his pocket. “I’ll go into town tomorrow and get some more tokens.” He said.

“Wait,” said Sparx. “How did you teleport everyone? And how about when you ran off so freaking fast? And the spring? How did you do all of that without Smashforming?” Ace shrugged. “Didn’t need to,” he said. “I can Smashform without a Smash Pin.” Sparx’s eyes shot open. “WHAAAT!?” she yelled. Ace sighed. “I’ll show you what I mean,” he said. He took off his vest, revealing the badge on his shirt. “Normally, one needs to touch the Smash Pin to transform into a character. It doesn’t matter where you wear it, all that matters is that you make contact with it to Smashform. Well, I don’t need to. I can do that without touching the pin.” He grabbed his shirt with both hands and the bottom and started pulling it up. “Hey, wait. What are you doing?” Sparx said, as she quickly turned around. After Ace took off his shirt, he threw it at Sparx, and it covered her head. She turned around and said, “What the hell, Ace? Are you nu-“ while she was saying that, she took the T-shirt off of her head, and what she saw made her stop. She completely froze, when she saw a half-naked Marth crawling towards her. Her face turned completely red, then her nose started bleeding slightly, and she passed out. “Huh. Reached your limit already?” Ace took the shirt and put it back on, as he reverted back to human form. “Well, it’s a good thing that’s as far as it went. If Dani found out I did anything else, he’d kill me for sure,” he thought to himself. He smiled. “Well, I’m sure she got a good grasp of what I meant.”

He got up. “What that’s sound? “ he mumbled. He went outside the tent. “A helicopter?” He moved towards the sound that gradually became louder. “That’s definitely a helicopter!” he thought to himself. After a few seconds, he looked to his left as he saw the helicopter fly overhead. There was a rope ladder hanging from the side, and on the ladder was a young man with long black hair, wearing black clothes and a black overcoat. He jumped from the rope ladder, and landed on his feet in the sand, as the helicopter flew off. Ace walked towards him and clapped at a slow pace. “Well, well, if it isn’t Dani. What took you so long?”

Dani scratched the back of his head bashfully, slightly chuckled and said, “Got held up by some major traffic.” With his left hand, Ace held his right elbow while holding his chin with his right hand. “Traffic, huh?” he asked. Dani nodded. “I had to fight off these freaky-looking metal Power Ranger polygon guys.” Ace scratched his head, while trying to figure out what Dani was trying to say, and said, “metal Power Ranger polygon- Oh! Sounds like you got attacked by Fighting Alloys. How did that work out?” “Pretty good,” Dani replied. He took out a pouch and gave it to Ace. “Oh, for me? Why, thank you.” He opened it to find some Smash Tokens inside. “Oh, yeah. Just what I needed,” said Ace with a high-pitched tone and Italian accent. “Think of it as a thanks for having to put up with my girlfriend for this mission,” said Dani. “Eh, it’s okay,” Ace replied. “She’s a member of the Bureau too now, after all. And she’s been a perfect angel these past few days. For the most part.” They both laughed. “Where is Ebe, anyway?” Dani asked. Ace pointed at one of the tents. “She’s in that tent over there. She’s sleeping right now.” They both went into the tent. And Dani saw an unconscious Sparx lying on the ground with a nosebleed and a big smile on her face. After a moment of silence, Dani asked, “You did the half-naked Marth thing, didn’t you?” “Maaaaybe.” Ace had an innocent look on his face.
