Description For some context:

A mysterious presence or energy has attached itself to the ship and made it's home in the Enterprise's computer. Throughout this journey, the mysterious presence would help them in dire situations where the ship is nearly destroyed in "No-win" scenarios as well as through enhancing the ship's phasers, deflector beam and shields (phaser and deflector beam color being consistently gold and the shields visibly producing intricate and elegant patterns sparkling and glowing in gold).

The presence is acknowledged by the crew and communicates to certain members in cryptic fashion that leads them to have to interpret what it is trying to say to them. It eventually begins to speak to them, Revealing itself to be a long lost guardian prophesized by now dead alien civilization to return. It had defeated a destructor entity thousands of years in the past but at the cost of sacrificing much of it's power. Up until that point had existence in a weakened state before the Enterprise crossed paths with it. It regained some much of it's power during the journey, though despite this, it is still unable to leave the Enterprise's computer as it still hasn't regained it's full powers yet.

Eventually they do encounter the Destructor Entity mentioned by the Guardian. Reports coming from the engine room describe the engines emitting golden light. The Bridge is also enveloped by this golden light as well. The entity begins to show signs of regaining it's power, as Tendrils of golden light erupt from the Enterpise's hull and wrap around the ship. changing into armor made from light. The ship then charges forward to face the destructor entity, firing it's phasers into the beast and dealing heavy damage to the entity.

Based around a long standing thing in my imagination of an Alternate TOS storyline that is closer to Sci fi Fantasy and Space opera. Not like star wars, but more closer Japanese takes on the two themes, as seen in games, manga and anime.

Made while also listening to this song. which i think fits

This would look better in CG to be honest. As the destructor entity would be much bigger than shown.

and there are such thing as sci fi anime that are as deep and cerebral as star trek. Space battleship Yamato is one example. The original 1970s series actually aired at around the same time Star Trek's animated series aired
