Still going with this one-layer-style-but-not-quite, I keep getting inspiration for these paints. I've come to love how vibrant colors make it all look so magical, and, being a person who wish magic was real, have become personally pleased with what I've made lately. Seriously, I don't think I've been this at peace while drawing something before. I should have gone out of my comfort zone of lineart a loooong time ago. Making borders never really helped tbh.Okay so let me just say something right away; I have NO IDEA how animals work. I had to use a reference on both the wold/dog thing and the bird, so please excuse the bad texture on them both. I'll most likely draw animals in the future and try to become better at drawing them, but for now I'll just let it pass. This was my first real try at making decent animals, after all.
oH! And thank you all for giving me advice since I submitted "Aurora". I feel like it has really helped <: I'm still trying to keep a "cartoonized" yet not style, as you can see here with the big eyes and less sculpted face. I just feel like I need to say that, as some of you assume I was going for a realistic style. Regardless, I really appreciate the tips!

I like the sort of art style you have, I don't know why people might have thought it was unintentional, it is really nice! Also I love the vibrant colors you used. The stars in the sky look just perfect and I love the colorful glow from the grass. I think you are right about needing some more practice with animals but for not drawing them often they are quite good. However, even though the colors are good you might have over used purple and pink. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm assuming the girl is the focus of the piece. She gets washed out by her surroundings and needs more contrast immediately draw attention to her instead of having to look for her even if that does only take a few extra seconds.

That is very pretty. The only thing I would say the fix in the wolf she is petting. I thought it was a white skirt until I saw in your description about animals. Try making the wolf have a more see-able outline and make the outline of it's closed eye, legs and paws darker. Keep it up

Hello fellow. I'm coming from ProjectComment And I'd like to give you some little tips of improvement!
Overall I like the colors you used. The usage of blue, green and purple gives the mythical and still dreamlike feeling. I don't know if the grass is supposed to be more luminescent but It looks a bit monotone. So you can give a more depth if you darken the ground and let it shine the grass with bright colors. Maybe with a hard brush with setting a dynamic for size by pressure and/or speed and make little lines in one places and more on another to make little tussocks. Go crazy with the grass!
And for the white animal (I persume it's a wolf) you can give darker colors for making shadings. It gives more depth. What I can recommend to study about the anatomy of the wolf. Like the body is and the direction of the fur.

I like your choices of colors and the luminosity of lights seems interesting to look at. This piece has a magical feel.
However, some parts of this piece needs additional detail like in the rendering and fur of a wolf. Since it was your first try on drawing animals, I suggest to look for anatomy and reference for it. Don't forget to observe with it. Also the grass seems a bit off so add a bit detail on it (if you are going to draw grass again).

The colors makes this feel very magical when put together . I love the sky and how you made the stars . Im a lil bit unsure if she is in water ? It looks like you were going for water. Might need a lil more detail on it but the glow of the ground kinda gives off a mist look to it , Makes it seems like a cold winters night .

It is actually not water, but grass. I've found a liking for surreal colors in nature, so I thought I'd try it out <: She isn't sitting on the animal, but it is rather the animal that is laying on her. It's supposed to be a wold or a dog of some kind, but I'm not the best when it comes to animals. Thank you for your feedback!

This is very ethereal, light, beautiful. I love the way her hair matches the sky, and the sky expands into darker colors. The subject being in the center helps guide the eyes into the background to admire the stars.
At first though, I thought the animal was a part of a poofy dress hahaha.
