I once tried to make this kind of GIF with 2 images only, calculating the angle, with a digital cam -> [link] (but i would like this 3D camera!!!)

Yes, it does cause motion-sickness. Keep looking on ebay for the Nimslo as they turn up every so often. I remember watching IAMX's 'Bernadette' video, it was a big inspiration. You can see how they made it here, at .56 seconds in :[link] I think they used 14 digital cameras!

Hey, thanks for the link and comments. I find that cameras with 4 lenses create images that flow much smoother than the 2 lens stereo cameras.
If you get a chance, check out IMAX's Bernadette video, the German version is slightly cooler. If you watch the video 'making of Bernadette' you'll see they set up an array of about a dozen digital cameras.
