This is the third part to my Photographic Progression for the ''Guess who/what/where Contest’’ [link]

So what I’ve done here is follow the golden rule of starting from the BG to the FG. Has to be one of the most boring BG I’ve ever done! I like my details *sulk*

Following that rule I’ve started doing the neck [i think by now you can guess its a 'who' not a what/where] then when that’s done i will finish the shirt.

I’ve also done something rather unique this time. I did a to scale printout of the IMG and lay it over the top of some graphite paper and traced the general outlines. Anyways that all washed away when i did the base however i did it again and found that the lines could be engraved into the 1/2 dry paint...so that’s what i did. No way was i gonna stuff around trying to get correct proportions when i could just trace it.

Btw this is a 10'' x 13.5'' board coated in...something that the oils find hard to cling to. Its interesting and still better than the awful texture on canvas.

Well id better leave it alon otherwise i’ll be kicking myself come days end. Gotta do a bit of housework, prep for dinner, take care of some Rats and perhaps eat something [ have totally forgot my breakfast that i made like 2 hrs ago, bad megan, bad]
