Thank you! And sorry for the late answer.
There is more a symbolism, where human stuck in dark aspects of nature (tentacles of somewhat lovecraftian monster), while animals are pure and free from that darkness and should be protected (the dog are inside of protection circle. only now i understand white fire maybe not the best way to show it..)

No problem at all. Thank you for explaining this to me, this is a very interesting idea and you depicted it very well I personally think the white fire is a good choice to represent this. It's fire because the animals would never cross it and white because this fire is actually there to protect them from the evilness than can consume mankind, so it's a "kind" fire, and it also refers to the animals' natural purity and sincerity.

I thought fire is associated with danger too strongly, but seems i was wrong.
