Was going to attempt this as a pencil sketch. But I couldn't help but splash the watercolours. I see a lot of versatility in most galleries and don't worry I'll try and do the same so you don't get too bored with this style of art.Enjoy peeps

My high school mascot was a lion and my husband is still obsessed with them as his favorite animal. Can't count how many we have laying around our room.

Hi, oh I use 300gsm acid free paper. There's unfortunately much else for what it says on the back of the pad. But yeah the density for me is ideal for absorbent purposes, the colour remains brilliant.ย

Funny thing: Before I went digital with my artwork, I used Winsor Newton gouache paints for so long that I started using the spellings "colour" and "grey" myself. I only stopped because everyone kept "correcting" me

Ah okay. You can spell it any way you please hun. I have noticed that our words differ by an additional letter but its not like i sit here scratching my head saying "what does this mean". Personally I hate people correcting each other. It's annoying habit to have. So yeah just keep being you that's all that matters

I like the experimenting the lion is well drawn and the shading for the colors are very good. I must try and make a watercolor drawing soon.
