I don't think cats would like it, they're so independent ^^

Wow, awesome! The cat is so incredible here, a mystical enigmatic creature! From another world. Looks fantastic. And the colors remind me of autumn.

Strike! It's autumn indeed.
I grew very pity for the cat for making him this weird green, so I'm happy for him and pass him cheering words of mystery ^__^

oh wow. I feel incredibly stupid trying to write about my portrait.
I have to say it looks rather like the original. Remove the romantic mood, put retarded appearance and some weight on and you're there.
Can't help but ask - why the eyes are red? : - )
Heeeere, kitty-kitty-kitty... Some woman once told me that his breed is "Siberian Short-haired Forest Green Cat". In fact, the only green thing about him is the pair of large, deep yellow-green eyes ) But you're pretty intuitive. Or just generally like green : - P
I love the sly look upon his face )
Thank you so much. I wish I was as good as that girl on the picture.
Oh, I should ask you to teach me your trademark shading and skillful use of textures. Looks great, as always.

Could it be, are you talking about Behemot by Bulgakov? I wonder how would the translated book feel like in your language. Shame on me, the only writer that comes to mind when I think about your literature is Andjey Sapkovsky, whom I adore since I was teenager. Oh, so you have a cat ) It's a nice thing to know )
Thank you for all the compliments, as expected from one of the most polite people I've met ^^ You're very kind.
Sharingan kitty... oh my, your imagination is a scary thing ^^

Yup, him. He's Bułhakow and the book is Mistrz i Małgorzata, if that's what you mean. Now I can also say about my past self per teenager (scary, so old) and that's when I met him, a love from first sight. The book has even its own music.
Not that I know much more either, shame. Only some old geezers called classics, which I btw like greatly, but I know you have so much more awesome fantasy/sf literature.
I <3 Sapkowski too : )
Naah ^^"

Oh, how interesting. No, I was talking about the text, the whole thing. Translation does some considerable damage to any written word, and it changes the meaning dramatically. But since I don't speak Polish (errr, I'm sorry, did i say it right?) I can only guess what it's like.
I wonder what is the music for it. I associate this book with spring. Come to think of it, I always re-read it in spring.
Maybe you can recommend some writer from your homeland?
I love those old geezers, not all of them but still. As for the scince fiction (wait, isn't Stanislav Lem from Poland? He is one of my favourite writers ever) - the situation is like this: there's a golden found written in the past century mostly. The books published nowdays are much like fanfiction - in the point of quality - I mean that absolutely any bullshit can be published. There are pleasant and rare exeptions, of course, but generally the situation makes me break down and cry. It's like the circle of sin - publishers choose whatever they think the average reader would buy (some sex, violence and action, don't overload the reader with deep thoughts), the average reader (teenager or young man/woman) buys it and thinks it's cool and makes publisher provide more trash to the market. The worst thing is that kids read these too.
nah, sorry, I'll better stop ranting )

I see. I thought you know I don't have abilities to compare original and translation ^^ But have to agree. When I learned English decently and checked the originals of my favourite books I was scarred for life, so much damage and lost meanings. I think it would be best if the authours of books would be translating them on their own, but that is of course utopia and we are left with learning languages :]
Bulhakov is for me Autumn, because that's when I read it. And the music (without lyrics) is [link] But I think Spring would be nice too, the one when snow melts.
Maybe Ewa Białołęcka? She writes very nice fantasy and is alone cool, wise person. Andrzej Pilipiuk is the one I like too. You must forgive me, but my old geezers are for me not so interesting, becasue mostly they were part of boring Polish classes in school, reading them was a must and I remember them as equally boring, with slight exceptions. The foreign geezers from the other hand always seem fascinating. Thus I can hardly find something to recommend.
Yes, Lem is from Poland, but sadly I don't know him. I fear him since I was around 10, when in school we had to read something terribly boring... and strange of him (about a pilot Pirx) and since them I never can find the time to get to know him properly.
I think I can understand it. Very well, actually. It's one of those things you have no force to stop/change and when you realise the good past never can be back. Look for example at Lily, everyone starts drawing her faces and the ones I loved are simply disappering, to be replaced by bishonenism. I die every time I see something like that.
But um I must tell you I noticed here something similar. I don't read so much as I used to, but I had a doubtful pleasure of reading a few Polish and Czech (f/s-f) books that were just simply low fanfictions, with blood, darkhness, erotica, violence and voila, let's sell/buy it. And people I thought are more sophisticated than this were loving these books :S
Ranting is fun : )

Hmm, the track is pretty heavy. I was thinking of something more complexed and closer to classic, like the music they had on the Satan's ball, perhaps.
Can you believe it - I couldn't find neither Bialolecka, no Pilipiuk in the RuNet. There were some mentions, but no texts, unfortunately (
Looks like the way they teach literature in schools is the same all around the world... I would suggest to give Lem one more chance though - he's very intelligent, deeply feeling and very, very talented person. He knows human psyche well, it's a pleasure to read his books. He's sad and nostalgic, and reminds me Ray Bradbury a little, but more, errr deep and mature, I believe )
I'm not especially fond of art by Lily, but I got your idea. Drawing fanart is not a great thing by itself - but drawing fanart using ripped-off style of some other fanartist... On the second thought - what a hell, we're just senceless kids - who cares, how many times this chocolate was eaten before us as long as we like it )
Btw, I like bishies )))

I see. This song was actually sealed without my will, but it proved to be very accurate after all. I think we could call it 'tastes' : )
They are not some world-wide popular authors, so maybe really aren't translated to many languages. Pity. I was actually sure they would be in your country, seeing that Sapkowski isn't avaliable in English, but in Russian - yes.
I'll try : ) I'm sure there will come a good time for Lem : )
I absolutely wouldn't mind if people were copying for example Kishi, because he is the creator and god of his characters, or some fanartist with a face style resembling him (abecause I'm this selfish that barely like things that doesn't have right faces), but damn. Lily's face style is horrible. Embodiment of what I dislike. Absolutely doesn't suit for a nice shounen manga like Naruto is. Wait, but I'm supposed to like her. For colouring and some ideas, and that's all : )))
As for bishies, now there are many kinds of them. Naruto's guys actually can be bi shounens, beautiful boys, but these nice realistic faces is not what I see while thinking 'a bishounen'. I feel obliged to deliver some examples: guy on the left , Fei Long's broad shoulders are broad . Dunno. Tastes change so much during the lifetime : P

I'm pretty sure they were translated into Russian. just can't find them on the web (
What, Sapkowski is not available in English? Those guys are hopeless....
She's not that bad, it just takes some efforts to look at her pics ; P I can't think of her fanart as of Naruto fanart. it's something else.
Oh, what a nice couple of clothes-hangers ) I think I prefer reality better. I believe, 'bi' in 'bishounen' means that I'm supposed to be charmed and fall inlove from the first sight at this walking miracle - not ask myself stupid questions like 'where did his jaw bone gone', 'how does it feel to have your face growing right on your neck' and 'if it's a product of forbidden love of a microcephal and a giraffe'. in my humble opinion, of course ^^'''

Wikipedia says Białołęcka translated some of her works to Russian herself. Maybe not the ones I escpecially had in mind (Tkacz Iluzji~Weaver of Illusion), but hope anyway that you'll find something.
Lily - so true. They're not Naruto folk for me either. That's even better.
Now this is the kind of user-friendly, real bishis I like too ^^ Agree totally with your opinion : )

i <3 the textures you used. i really enjoy viewing how you color each and every figure you draw. you never simple pick a basic color and they shade. nice use of light!
i find it interesting how the 'spots' in your drawing almost resemble water spots on the lens of a camera.
