I've been watching you for awhile now on dA and I am amazed someone of your incredible talent has cosplayed from Homestuck. The fandom is a little young, but seeing you like it too makes me feel a lot better about it! I'm going on 24 and I just feel like a grandma compared to a lot of the other HS cosplayers >>

Awww thank you so much! In Germany, Homestuck has been like a hot tip for a long time and me and Mariru were amazed when we went to a con as John and Dave and someone actually recognized us- due to the language barrier, the German Homestuck fandom has long been people over 18 who actually understood some of the text and read it for the wonderfully creative story and use of language etc but now the fandom is getting younger as well and some people do not even understand the original story and only ship troll pairings I fear
Sometimes it is really hard to blend in, if a fandom is very very young, I fear. I'm 23 and I know the grandma-feel. It's just not fun, if a freetime activity turns into unexpected babysitting

I first saw this picture when someone was saying that while their friend I think was in China or something, they were flipping through a cosplay magazine and that they actually saw Homestuck in it. And it was those two pictures XP I'm not sure you know hat? Aha.
