Most people forget the Prince of Dol Amroth since he wasn't in the movies. Is that him in the blue?

No. Those 2 are Elladan and Elrohir, Elrond's twin sons and close friends of Aragorn's. I don't believe Imrahil was on this part of the battlefield when Eomer and Aragorn meet up.

A magnificent rendition of the Pellanor Fields (although there's something a little humorous about the havoc being wrecked in the background while Aragorn and Eomer enjoy a Manly Handshake before turning back to the Battle, even Founding Fathers of Fantasy need the occasional breather!).

The sons of Elrond, definitely and Halbarad as well. I try to show them whenever possible. It's only in paintings that secondary characters can be given some notoriety. Glad you like the piece.

I get asked this a lot. I don't really keep track of how long a painting takes. I might get into spurts of energy and knock off most of the piece and then sit on it for weeks before I come back to finish it.

This is incredible! My favorite detail is the soldier on the right whose looking out at the viewr, making it seem like you're a part of this as you look at it! Great work!
