That is so gorgeous! I love Beatrix Potter too
You know the scary thing is, just the other day I googled some images of Peter Rabbit and Beatrix Potter that I was gonna paint later!
This is adorable, you really captured the genuine style!

if you're going to do one of this paintings I recommend to use thick paper; because it has many many layers of painting, and those layers are very wet with a tiny amount of paint, they are almost transparent.

and thank you for your advice! I don't really know anything about different papers, I only use normal printer paper but I do have some really cheap watercolour paper so maybe I'll use that.

you're welcome I always use cheap materials for my artwork, but in this case I bough a large sheet of 300 grams (the ehavier the thicker) and divided it in eight, so it wasn't expensive at all. It helps with the wrinkles.
