My contestentry for *shar-vampire s contest. Task was, to design a fantasycreature (dragon, griffon etc.) and write a lil’ backgroundstory to the chara.

So lets start...

Name: Szakzis the Cursed
Former Name: Serifa Valtres
Age: 29
Species: Chaosdragon
Size: 3m at shoulder, 6m long
Wingspan: 9 m

Personality:
- Typical loner
- only thing that really interest her are gems and her beauty
- Kinda unfriendly
- Conceited
- Depressive
- Dislikes beautiful woman

Serifa once was the oldest daughter of a noble man. She was a quiet annoying person, only thing she cared about was her beauty and of course her jewels. She spent most time of the day in front of her mirror.
One day, her father had enough and wanted to get rid of her as fast as he could.
Some weeks later he had arranged a marriage between his daughter and a quiet popular wizard. Serifa refused him with the reason that he was not good enough for her, in her opinion he was not wealthy enough to fit to her high standards.
The young man was deeply hurt and decided to take that, what was most important to Serifa, her beauty.
He cursed her and transformed her into a Chaosdragon, an ugly creature feared by all. She was just furious and attacked him immerdiatly.
Badly wounded but with a sardonic smile, the dying man told her that just he alone was able to give her back her human shape.

After his death, Serifa was sure that she did a huge mistake and set out on a journey to find someone who could help her. She was ashamed of herself and changed her name to Szakzis.
There wasn’t much success in the following years, nobody was able to transform her back to human form, they only were able to weaken the spell.
Now Szakzis can change to her human form for one day, every month.

So far to her life, i'm not really satisfied with it but ok .
