Wow. I envy your desk. I'm currently sat on the floor in front of a desk less than a metre long! xD
But I can sympathise with the massive load of wires, at least the majority of them are white and blend with the wall. Hehe.

I started drawing digitally using a A6 Wacom Volito. If it wasn't for the fact it was so difficult compared to larger or better versions, I'd never have had the kind of control that I do now using one. I spent 5-6 Months learning with that tool, and its why I can draw way better digitally than I would've.
You have a way cooler and nicer set up than me.

Make sure you Wacom tablet is ratio calibrated to the screen! A lot of people don't read the manuals and so they get the 1:1 ratio vertically, but not horizontally. There's a lot of settings in Control Panel in Windows that help you setup the tablet better for you. Once I did that, things got a lot easier.
Doing drills and tracing using layers in Photoshop helped me get better too with my tablet. It did take some time, but if you ever get a Graphire or Intuos later on, or just a bigger tablet and you can draw on one of these, it, it will be so easy.
Tools help the artist, but a real artist can make art with a pudding stick.

Mines didn't come with a paper manual either. Check the CD/WebSite. Probably the reason people don't read them!
You're welcome. I'm glad you found them helpful.
