My part of the Art Trade with
We decided to do some art inspired by the book/movie "Memoirs of a Geisha"
I had to draw Hatsumomo! XD
Coz she's one of my fav characters!
*evil evil* Though she doesn't look much like her evil self here 
lolStill, I think it looks a bit like her, no?
I like to think so lolI had no ref so I just had to use my memory
Random Fact: Hatsumomo means first born peach.
(Or so I've read somewhere, I dunno if it's accurate

Oohh, such lovely details! :3 I love the soft coloring on her face, too, in contrast to the slightly rouger work on the rest of the image (trust me, it's cool). She has beautiful eyes and I love the reds you worked in around them, and her hair looks so flowy pretty... This has a lovely composition about it, too! I love the way you set Hatsumomo out of the center of the image and then incorporated detail AROUND her, if that makes any sense. It's a unique way to set up the image, anyway. Lovely work, hun! :3

as you said: I tried not to set hatsumomo on the center coz that would look way too much like a photo or a portrait of some sort so I decided to balance teh composition so she could be a little more to one of teh sides
