It shows his Character, a wonderful bald eagle.
His watchful eyes espy the opposed side of the Grand Canyon.
Done with Prismacolor/Polychromo colored pencils and markers :3

It is always very tricky to do avian anthros, but Ashanti has really succeeded with the anatomy and pose of this anthro bald Eagle. The bird's feathers are carefully detailed, especially the white tail feathers look photo-realistic. I would have changed the position of that left back leg a bit, or show more toes, since it now looks like the bird has something odd coming out off his butt. The canyon is very well done, it has some depth and doesn't look "flatt". The tree however, where the eagle is perched, looks a bit odd to me. It has a good wooden texture in it but the branches especially on the left corner don't look so realistic. Overall a good piece of art.

What a beautiful avian anthro. The feather detail's gorgeous and the canyon setting seems to really complement the eagle somehow.

Die weißen Federn scheinen irgendwie besser anzukommen als die Braunen, bin ich richtig froh darüber, denn Weiß schattieren ist eins meiner Schwächen ^^'
