This is so cool, and slightly creepy with how the taum starts to disappear into the black background. I love that the lighting feels like it's coming from the viewer. Well done! This is a really beautiful painting.

This was the 1 hr study I did and did all my taums in order of creation. I had sketched him like this and was super happy when it came out in the painting. He is the monster in the dark. The lights not to trust. Like an angular in the oceans depths. He lures. He toys with his prey. He is all that is wicked. A nightmare. My first taum came to me in a dark time. So he learned to thrive in the darkness.
