An absolution is a forgiveness of wrongdoings, or a formal release from guilt. The song basically says how he feels guilty and wishes that he could have saved Blaze.

Awesome dude lol I like the glowing effects and the lightning. This must be a take on Silver's ability to paralyze enemies huh?
Dreams of an Absolution is my favourite song. I have 13 different remixes of it now I think lol
And I believe the absolution may be his wishes for a better future in Sonic 06 since he came back to the past and everything to try to change it. I loved Sonic 06, I don't care what anyone else says (I love all my other Sonic games though too) lol

I just researched online once and found alot of the remixes xD
I know I loved playing as Shadow and Silver, especially Silver because I could use his Psychokinesis in the game and its like the only REAL game Silver's powers were in, Sonic Rivals and Sonic Rivals 2 weren't the same and Sonic Generations was just battling him so that wasn't the same either. I'm still awaiting SEGA on making another game where we can use Silver's powers
