Description
This is a drawing/sketch of a wolf howling from behind. It took about 2 hours to complete. I really enjoyed drawing this since it was a new pose for me, plus the whole body is there too. I did a few touch ups on the computer so you all do not have to strain your eyes trying to see the details.I didn't have any idea for the title so that's why i called it solitude.

I used an image from a fellow artist as a ref. The Image is called "Gray Wolf: Back Howl." The wolf in the photo is named Cheyenne.

oh wow, your a fantastic artist! incredible job on the shading and making the fur look realistic. I just got finished reading this wonderful book called Shiver about this group of people turning into wolves when its cold and how after so long you dont change back into human and how this one guy who falls in love with this girl fights to stay human and how he lost the only family he knew to the woods and this picture really captured the loneliness and depth of how I pictured the book. So enticing and sad but beautiful none the less.

Very beautiful pose, and quite original too. I think you did awesome on the fur detail it looks very realistic and was well worth your time. Great attention to the anatomy as well, it must have been hard to get it right with so little of the legs actually showing.

yeah i don't really like when the legs aren't showing. i know in another drawing i haven't put up yet i was having a lot of difficulty doing anatomy since the legs were hidden behind another wolf
